Welcome To My Corner of the Internet
If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be building a website at this stage of my life, I probably would’ve laughed, adjusted my glasses, and asked someone younger to fix the printer first.
But life has a funny way of surprising you.
So here I am—clicking buttons, learning new tricks, occasionally wondering where a missing tab disappeared to, and sharing what I’ve discovered along the way.
I’m not some big tech expert.
I’m just someone curious enough to keep learning… and stubborn enough not to let the computer win.
This little corner of the internet is part stories, part lessons, part “well, let’s see if this works,” and honestly, that’s half the fun.
If I can learn something new at this point in life, maybe it’s proof that we’re never really too old to start again.
A Simple Place for Useful Things
This site was created for one simple reason:
To make life a little easier… without forcing you to sit through a twenty-minute video that starts with, “Hey guys, don’t forget to like and subscribe,” while dramatic music plays in the background and someone explains how to boil water like they’ve discovered fire.
The internet is noisy these days.
Everywhere you click, somebody is promising overnight success, secret shortcuts, miracle systems, or “the one trick THEY don’t want you to know.” Usually, it’s delivered by a smiling person standing in front of a rented sports car, holding a cup of coffee they probably don’t even like.
Meanwhile, most of us are just trying to remember our passwords and figure out why the printer suddenly sounds like it’s preparing for takeoff.
That’s why this site exists.
No smoke machines. No fake guru speeches. No pretending I wake up every morning at 4 a.m. to meditate on a mountain while drinking imported tea harvested by moonlight.
I’m just sharing things that I honestly think might help.
Practical ideas. Useful information. Lessons learned from experience. A little humor. A little honesty. And every now and then, a story about me accidentally clicking the wrong button and spending forty-five minutes trying to fix something that was working perfectly five minutes earlier.
Believe me, I’ve had my moments.
I’ve stared at computers before like they were ancient alien technology.
I’ve opened twenty tabs looking for one answer and somehow ended up reading about Viking bread recipes and lawn mower repair.
I’ve forgotten passwords seconds after creating them and confidently clicked “save changes” without reading a single word.
Twice.
Maybe three times.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something important:
Learning doesn’t stop just because you get older, busier, or slightly suspicious of modern technology.
Sometimes you just need information explained in a normal, human way—without twelve advertisements popping up and asking if you’d like notifications for the rest of eternity.
So think of this site as a comfortable little corner of the internet.
A place where curiosity is welcome, questions are never stupid, and nobody gets judged for needing help finding the “save” button, the “back” button, or the button they just clicked that made everything disappear.
Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and look around.
If something here makes your day easier, teaches you something new, or even gives you a small laugh while your computer is “updating for the next seventeen hours,” then this little website has done exactly what it was meant to do.
.
Where You Might Like To Start
Most people think you need to have everything figured out before you begin. Trust me, if that were true, half of us would still be staring at the “create account” screen, wondering what password we used in 2017.
The truth is, starting is usually just one small step. Maybe it’s trying a new recipe, building your first webpage, learning a tool you’ve never touched before, or finally clicking the button you’ve been afraid might “break the internet.”
The beginning can feel awkward and uncertain. Mine certainly did. There were moments I clicked things with the confidence of a game-show contestant and the results of someone trying to program a toaster.
But little by little, things start making sense.
Progress is funny that way. At first it moves quietly, almost invisibly, and then one day you realize you actually know what you’re doing… or at least know enough to look calm while figuring it out.
Along the way, I’ll recommend certain tools, products, and resources that I personally believe are helpful. Some of those are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you decide to use them—but it never costs you anything extra.
Think of it as buying me a cup of coffee for testing things so you don’t have to accidentally download seventeen toolbars and a mystery virus from 2004.
Where you might want to start often isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about taking that first small, meaningful step. Maybe it’s exploring a simple idea, trying a new recipe, setting up your first page, or learning a tool you’ve never used before. The beginning can feel uncertain, even intimidating, but it’s also full of possibilities. Start where you are, with what you have, and allow yourself to grow into the process. Progress builds quietly at first, then steadily gains momentum. What matters most is not perfection, but the willingness to begin and keep moving forward, one step at a time.
A Quiet Promise
A Small Promise From Me
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. That simply means if you decide to purchase something, I may earn a small commission—without costing you one extra penny.
In other words, the company says, “Thanks for the recommendation,” and I might earn enough for a cup of coffee and possibly a donut if things get really exciting.
But I want to be very clear about something:
I’m not interested in filling this site with flashy nonsense, “miracle” gadgets, or products that look like they were invented at three in the morning during a late-night infomercial meeting.
If I recommend something, it’s because I honestly think it’s useful, practical, or worth sharing. Period.
I’ve reached an age where I don’t have the energy to pretend a terrible product is wonderful just because somebody waves a commission check at me. If it doesn’t work, makes life harder, or feels like a waste of money, it won’t make it onto this site.
Simple, honest, and hopefully helpful—that’s the deal.
And if something saves you time, frustration, or from yelling at your computer screen the way I occasionally do, then I’d say we’re both winning.
eans if you choose to purchase something, I may earn a small commission—at no extra cost to you.
Some of the links you’ll find here are affiliate links.
But I want to be clear about something:
I don’t recommend things just to earn money.
If it’s not helpful, not practical, or not something I’d stand behind, it doesn’t make it onto this site.Simple as that.
Why This Matters to Me
This isn’t just a project.
It’s something I started later in life, with the hope of building something meaningful—something that helps others and creates a little stability for the people I care about.
So if something here helps you, even in a small way, then this is already doing what it was meant to do.

You don’t have to figure everything out today.
You just have to start.
And you already have.
